Peter Lund MD
Dr. Peter Lund is the newest member of the Chattanooga Bone and Joint Surgeons. He practiced in Martin, TN for 13 years before he and his wife decided to relocate to Chattanooga. He leaves behind a very busy surgical practice which focused on all aspects of orthopedic surgery including hand surgery, joint replacement, sports medicine, and occupational injury.
Dr. Lund is a native of New Orleans. He received his undergraduate and graduate medical degrees at Tulane University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Tulane University Hospital and Charity Hospital, and was presented with numerous awards for orthopedic research.
He completed a one year hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Alan Freeland and Dr. William Geissler, recognized experts in hand surgery.
Dr. Lund is honored to join such a well respected group as Chattanooga Bone and Joint Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Association for Hand Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a board certified general orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Lund relocates with his wife Courtney and beautiful daughter Petra. He has two other beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Amanda.
